LAST CHANCE TO SEE WHISKEY GRIN
September 11, 2010 at Kendrews Lounge
After nearly 6 years together, the guys from WG are going their separate ways to pursue other interests. Its been a great run and the band appreciates all the fans who have made it all worth while.
Although WG only has two shows left, don't be surprised if someday the WG banner flies again at a show here and there.
"Pittsburgh's two country radio stations should consider spinning Whiskey Grin to help fill the local-music void caused by the demise of the PovertyNeck Hillbillies. The song "That's Country," In particular, would fit the "Froggy" or "Y-108" formats, conveying the message that you don't have to be a southern sterotype to love country music." —Scott Tady, Beaver County Times
